World leaders in X-ray....
X-ray inspection systems provide complete product integrity X-ray inspection technology offers exceptional contamination detection, such as glass, metal, stone and high-density plastics, even for products packaged in foil or metallised film. In addition X-ray systems can simultaneously perform a wide-range of in-line quality checks. These include measuring mass, counting components, identifying missing or broken products, monitoring fill levels, inspecting seal integrity and checking for damaged packaging. Inspection of Foil and Metallised Film Packaging X-ray inspection systems work on absorption difference rather than conductivity. X-ray systems can therefore detect ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless steel even in foil or metallised film packaging. In addition X-ray systems do not suffer from changes in product temperature or moisture, thus ensuring minimum false rejects.
The AdvanCheK Plus X-ray system is built on the benefits of the highly successful standard AdvanChek. On a single user interface the AdvanCheK Plus offers excellent detection of foreign bodies in small and medium sized retail packs and can simultaneously perform gross mass measurement for calculated portion control with servo feedback to the filling machine; reducing giveaway and avoiding any non-compliance. X Ray inspection of tall rigid containers X-ray inspection systems for tall rigid containers are primarily used for packaged products that are taller than they are wide such as composite cans, juice bricks / blocks, PET bottles, glass jars and metal cans.
Finding glass contamination inside glass? 'No problem' The GlassCheK Quad X-ray inspection system is most suitable for the inspection of wide neck and non-uniform glass jars. Its software plots the individual dimensions of every glass jar that passes through the X-ray beam, detecting contaminants in the product as well as possible inclusions in the glass jar itself. The GlassCheK Quad uses four X-ray beams – one vertical and three horizontal beams - to ensure the greatest coverage and probability of detection within the jar. Its angled beams and adaptive software reduce blind spots and optimise detection in the most challenging areas such as the base, sidewalls and neck of the jar ensuring product safety. X-ray inspection systems can inspect loose products before being packaged or added as an ingredient to a finished product.
We have the facility to test your products on our demonstration systems in Dubai, or can arrange for testing on specialist types of X-ray detector in the UK. If you require X-ray detection as part of your manufacturing process,
please call us for professional advice regarding your application. No
two customers' requirements are alike and we take great care to specify
and build Safeline systems to meet your demands precisely. Implementing HACCP in your factory? Click here to see our metal detection and data logging solutions.
