The
new revolution for palletless trailer and container loading
More
and more companies are switching to palletless loading of trailers and
containers, since doing so makes good economic sense. Until now this meant
loading by hand, a tedious, time consuming process, or loading on slipsheets
using an expensive push-pull fork-lift attachment. Now though, the revolutionary
new RollerForks® do away with the need for hydraulic attachments and
allow you to fill or off load a container in minutes instead of hours.
Advantages of
using slipsheets over pallets
- Lower purchasing
costs
- Increased volume
and weight capacity available in containers & trailers
- 98% less empty
stacking space needed
- Less handling,
less administration and less return transport
- Better hygiene
and easier to clean
- No issues with
heat treatment (FAO-ISPM #15)
- More ecologically
sound
LOADING A CONTAINER BY HAND TAKES HOURS
BUT
USING ROLLERFORKS® IT
TAKES JUST MINUTES
RollerForks®
A true alternative to the push pull attachment
The
traditional method of loading and off loading with slipsheets was to use
a 'push pull' fork-lift attachment but these are expensive, heavy and
inconvenient. RollerForks® are a better alternative in every respect;
- Much lower price
- No hydraulics needed
on the truck or the forks. So no maintenance problems
- No need to buy
an uprated fork truck - RollerForks® weigh little more than standard
forks
- The driver's visibility
is not obstructed - so they are safer to use in a busy warehouse
- Unlike push pull
systems, RollerForks® can be used as regular forks for standard
fork lift operations.
- Loading &
unloading is faster than with a push pull attachment
- Fork truck problem?
Move RollerForks® from one truck to another in less than 5 minutes.
FOR
THE COST OF ONE PUSH-PULL ATTACHMENT
YOU COULD EQUIP THREE FORK TRUCKS WITH ROLLERFORKS®
The
basic principle;
A
RollerFork®
consists of a special lift truck fork that serves as a supporting frame
with a special hinge in the heel allowing it always to lay flat on the
floor. Inside the fork are two layers of rollers, one above the other,
that drive each other when the forks are moved over the floor.
The basic principle
is that the upper rollers rotate at exactly the same speed but in the
opposite direction of the lower rollers, which are in contact with the
ground. When the RollerForks® are lifted from the ground, the rollers
automatically lower and the load is secure on the forks.
RollerForks® and
the rollers are made of high grade materials and because there are no
axial forces there is hardly any wear and tear. Dirt and dust falls through
the rollers and onto the floor.
